An Act of Love
North East Los Angeles Natives The Quintero family tell their story about empowering their community and building awareness about the disease that one of their own was diagnosed with.
“An act of love” is a fundraiser to increase awareness about ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) and to celebrate the story of one man’s giving spirit and his struggle with the illness. The evening will consist of a screening of the short film, “A Sacred Journey”, a film by Ernesto Quintero. Members of Latino Hollywood (Emilio Rivera, Danny de la Paz and more) are supporters of the cause and will be represented that evening.
All donations collected will contribute to the continued effort to raise awareness about ALS. Tickets are $25 and available to the general public now at
