Warning Issued: Severe Thunderstorms

Hail and strong winds expected to come with storm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued by the National Weather Service for Brooklyn, and the five boroughs, as a string of intense storms approached the city.

NWS also said that winds over 60 mph and hail are possible with this storm.

The warning is in effect until 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 18.
