UPDATE: Snowpocalypse 2010: Service and Transportation Delays on the Day After

Some city services are up and running, others are still delayed or suspended

UPDATE 9:11 a.m.: Roadify is reporting a deasabled vehicle on the BQE. Additionally, there are minor delays on the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels and the Verrazano Bridge limited is 35mph.

After a long (or fun, depending on how you look at it) snow day, it's back to work for most people. Although delays are expected on all roads and on all forms of mass transit, many subway and bus lines are back in service.

The city is encouraging people to use mass transit, and not to drive, as many streets are still unplowed.

Abandoned vehicles is one of the major reasons why streets remain unplowed. The city is aware of this, according to an automated 311 response, and is NOT taking complaints on the issue.
