The last blizzard of 2010 is on its way out, with several inches of snow on the ground and high winds persisting throughout Brooklyn.

The National Weather Service's blizzard warning will expire at noon today as the storm moves further north, but city services, subways and roads have already been heavily affected by the snow.

The city encourages New York City residents to stay inside today, but if you do have to travel, use mass transit and leave the roads clear for plows and emergency vehicles.

Here's what you can expect in service changes for the day, keep checking back for updates:

Subways

According to the MTA, there are currently delays across New York City on most train lines, including the 2, 3 and 4 trains.

Service on the F train is currently suspended from Stillwell Avenue to Jay Street in both directions due to inclement weather.

Service on the G train is suspended in both directions from Hoyt Street to Church Avenue due to the weather.

Service on the Q train has been suspended between Stillwell Avenue and DeKalb Avenue in Brooklyn due to weather.

Buses

The MTA is reporting "major disruptions" throughout the city's bus lines, but "good service" on some.

Roadways

The BQE is currently shut down between Atlantic Avenue and Hamilton Avenue due to disabled vehicles and stalled tractor trailer trucks.

Many Park Slope streets and avenues have not been been plowed. Be wary if driving.

Trains

The Long Island Rail Road and the Metro-North Railroad are currently suspended.

Airports

New York City Airports are closed until 4 p.m.

Libraries

Brooklyn Public Libraries will be closed today due to the snow. No fines will be incurred.

Prospect Park

The Prospect Park Tennis Center is closed until further notice due to snow damage to bubbles.

However, the park will be open for sledding and hot chocolate at Long Meadow from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

City Services

Alternate Side Parking regulations and trash collection for today has been suspended.

Local Businesses

Many local businesses are closed for either the whole day or part of the day. Call before heading out. Effed in Park Slope is compiling a great list of what's opened and closed.

Additionally, the New York City Fire Department reminds residents to use 911 only for true emergencies today due to the extreme weather.
