More extramarital affairs occur in Park Slope than in anywhere else in Brooklyn, says the New York Post, who published new data from cheating web site AshleyMadison.com.
AshleyMadison.com, which bills itself as "the world's leading married dating service for discreet encounters” used data from members addresses to compile the survey, and found that in New York, Park Slope was the number two hotbed for cheaters, , says the article.
The Post says that the web site’s data also found that Park Slope members had the most children, which is probably not surprising.
But what is it about neighborhoods like Park Slope that makes couples want to cheat? Well, wealth may have something to do with it.
“There seems to be a disproportionate amount of cheating spouses in affluent areas and neighborhoods in New York,” Noel Biderman, CEO of AshleyMadison.com, told the Post, arguing that the more successful you are, the more opportunities for infidelity that will come your way.
