Jim Carrey in Park Slope!

The actor shoots Mr. Popper's Penguins on Montgomery Place

There's a little bit of Hollywood magic on Montgomery Place today.

The street is covered in snow as Jim Carrey films Mr. Popper's Penguins, a film based on the similarly named 1938 children's book about a business man who inherits six penguins and transforms his apartment into a winter wonderland.

Currently, it appears most filming is going on inside 17 Montgomery Place, presumably the fictional location of Mr. Popper's apartment. Thus far, there have been no Carrey sightings, though a crew member did confirm Carrey is on set.
