Fairway Market Red Hook Reopens For Business!

Brooklyn residents came out in droves to the waterfront on Friday morning to witness the official reopening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at Fairway Market Red Hook. The 39,000-square-foot store at 480-500 Van Brunt Street was completely gutted in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, when it was flooded with five feet of water and suffered severe financial losses.

A thief stole $90 in cash, credit cards, debit cards, and a cell phone from a Seventh Street gallery during a party on Feb. 24.
