Come to Littlefield Art & Performance Space for the comedy show Night Train with Wyatt Cenac. Hosted by Brooklyn-based comedy favorite Wyatt Cenac, from The Daily Show, Night Train will feature comedy from the best local and international stand up comedians, and will at times feature new and established musicians, local celebrities, and the occasional surprise that can only be found in Gowanus.

Two Boots of Brooklyn is still calling for volunteers for their Hurricane Relief Effort. People are still needed to help the continued effort to prepare and serve hot food and sandwiches to families in the Rockaways, Coney Island, Gerritsen Beach, Gowanus, Red Hook and other Sandy-affected areas through the week. People with cars are desperately needed to make trips to deliver hot food and supplies.

Don’t miss DanceMotion USA at Brooklyn Academy of Music tonight. Trey McIntyre partners with an Asian dance company to showcase earnest and plainspoken movement from around the globe. Using inspiration both from his upbringing in the Great Plains and recent tour through the Philippines, Vietnam, China, and South Korea McIntyre’s creation will be a celebration.

Thursday

Palo Santo is proud to be a pick-up site for Brooklyn's first Community Supported Fishery. Join Mermaid's Garden CSF, a model that connects fish eaters to fishermen, and pick up fresh, local and sustainable fish every week for a fair price. Look forward to eating Black Bass, Bluefish, Haddock, Monkfish, Pollock, Summer Flounder, Swordfish, Tuna, Wreckfish and more.

Friday

Tonight, Barry Bryson with the Swing Street Orchestra will perform at The Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture. Come join trumpeter/bandleader Barry Bryson with his Swing Street Orchestra, and fabulous Coop Jazz musicians for a night of big band swing dance music.
