Pork Slope Now Delivers!

If you’re in the mood to eat some of Chef Talde’s down-south cooking but you don’t want to leave your couch, Pork Slope will bring food to your door.

 

Pork Slope, the roadhouse-style (and “Road House”-inspired) bar on Fifth Avenue, announced that they will now be doing delivery.

Although the “bar-that-serves-food,” as Dale Talde, chef and co-owner described it, has a great atmosphere with a motif of pigs and whiskey, with decorations ranging from taxidermy to pictures of prize-winning swine to a vast collection of whiskey bottles, sometimes eatng at home is just what you want.

But, if you can admit that you can’t make a rack of St. Louis ribs better than Talde, who is a “Top Chef” celebrity, than go ahead and order in.

Pork Slope, which lies between Garfield Place and Carroll Street, is owned by the trio behind Talde and Thistle Hill Tavern: David Massoni, John Bush and Dale Talde. Talde curated and cooks Pork Slope’s Southern barbeque menu.

Everything on the current menu— including its $6.50 cheeseburger, $12 Buffalo or BBQ chicken wings or shrimp, $9 pulled pork sandwich, $13 for half rack of St. Louis ribs, $10 brisket sandwich, $5 Chicago dog and more— is available for delivery from 5 p.m. through 11 p.m.

The delivery range is from Flatbush Ave. to Ninth St. between Fourth Ave. and Prospect Park.

Are they eating while standing in line for the men's room? Eww. I'm surprised this guy's head fits through the door.

Parksloper, it looks like that but they are eating in front of the kitchen door. This was taken during the soft opening and it was PACKED.
