Patrick Stewart Sides With Dish in Cable Battle
After slamming Time Warner's customer service on Twitter after his move to Brooklyn, the actor finally has his cable TV situation sorted out.
Everybody can relax now, Patrick Stewart has cable TV in his new Park Slope universe.
Stewart tweeted Thursday that he made the switch to Dish Network, and seems happy with their service:
“Thank you @dish for rescuing us from the Faustian @TWCable_NYC with your prompt and professional service.”

The star began a small Twitter beef with Time Warner Cable, when, after a surely grueling 36 hours, his cable was still not set up. Stewart wrote that after dealing with their customer service he “lost the will to live.”
“Our Care and Social Media teams are fully engaged to make sure he's well tended to. On behalf of the many Trekkers and Sir Patrick Stewart fans across our company, I can assure you, we will make it so,” Time Warner’s customer service told BetaBeat in a statement, but apparently, it wasn’t enough for the captain of the USS Enterprise.

The actor moved to Park Slope in August, and since then, residents have been having a field day trying to spot the stage and screen star, while poking a bit of fun at themselves.
