Park Slope Black Friday, Small Business Saturday Guide

Black Friday has become a tradition for many, while others avoid it as much as possible. 

The big box stores are opening early and the crowds will swarm, but you don't have to deal with the craziness to find holiday deals. Many local shops in Park Slope are offering Black Friday deals. The following day, stores will be open late for Small Business Saturday. Here's your local shopping guide for the weekend:

3. $40 Routine Eye Exam
4. $99 Complete Pair Of Geek Eyewear with Thin Non-Glare Lenses

More than one deal can apply, but the deal can not be combined with any type of additional discount A contact lens exam can be done in addition to a routine eye exam for an additional $75.

Small Business Saturday

The holiday season kicks off Saturday on Fifth Avenue. This annual reminder to "shop small" is a growing holiday tradition, nationwide. Come down to see what Fifth has to offer and stay for the tree lighting event: 6:30 p.m. at S'Nice (3rd St and Fifth Avenue). There will be music by the MS 51 Chorus, Rolie Polie Guacamole and Puppetry Arts, hot chocolate, candy canes and even Santa will make an appearance.
