Local Gift Advice from Area Kids

This is the last installment of gift advice from local shop owners on what to get your loved one for the holidays!

Now you really have run out of time. You should read this first then run out of your house. Don’t even bother to put on your shoes, for you don’t have the time.

Park Slope Patch stopped by , on Seventh Avenue between President and Union streets, and got two great ideas of what to get your kids, your nieces and nephews, or your friends’ offspring.

Ehret Arguinzon, a sales associate, told us that the best toy for a baby is Sophie the Giraffe.

Sophie, who costs $23, is a teething toy and is made out of all natural rubber, no dangerous chemicals to worry about. Even the coloring is all natural made from food dyes.

Arguinzon said that Sophie has a smell that attracts babies to take a bite.

Another cool gift, but for a much older youngin’, is a pet frog. The frog is tiny, about the size of a thumb, and comes in a nice little water tank.

It’s a cool way for kids to lean biologly and costs $34.

Happy Holidays Park Slope Patch readers! We hope we helped you find the perfect gift.
