Jackie's 5th Amendment Staying Open Just a Bit Longer
Park Slope dive bar closing, but not until October.
Park Slope's well known dive bar Jackie's 5th Amendment is closing, but not as quickly as was first thought.
According to a report in The L Magazine, initial plans to close the bar on Sept. 14 have changed, and it will now stay open until mid-October.
The 5th Avenue bar has been sold off to Slope Drugs & Surgical Supply next door, but is staying open until all the paperwork is gone through and the basement is cleared out.
