Gowanus Canal Conservatory to Hold Restaurant Fundraiser

The Gowanus Canal Conservatory will put on a one-day food event in August to raise money for the environmental health of the Gowanus Canal and celebrate local culinary talent.

Dive In Gowanus, to be held Friday, August 16th, will feature restaurants throughout the Gowanus Watershed area including 4&20 Blackbirds, applewood, Beer Table, Crop to Cup Coffee, Littleneck, Lot 2, The Pines, Runner and Stone, Southside Coffee and more. A portion of the proceeds will go to Conservatory environmental and community initiatives.

"The Gowanus neighborhood has quietly become a hotspot for the best culinary talent and creativity in Brooklyn, drawing rave reviews from those in-the-know," the Conservatory's website says.
