Following the sixth Brooklyn Museum Restaurant Week in March, which did not feature any Bushwick restaurants, the first Bushwick Restaurant Week will kick off on Monday.

Founded by local chefs Bob Murray and Nick Gilbert, therestaurant week features discounts and specialty dishes from about 30 restaurants across Bushwick, including Brooklyn Fireproof, Mominette, Burger It Up and Evergreen Ice Cream, which will have five-dollar bottomless ice cream.

“I feel really optimistic this will showcase all Bushwick has to offer in the culinary arena,” Murray said according to DNAinfo.com.
