Cheeburger Cheeburger to Open in February

The burger chain will open in the old Miracle Grill Space

Come next month, Cheeburger Cheeburger is hitting the Slope.

Last week, we reported that signage for the small Florida-based burger chain was up in the old Miracle Grill space on Seventh Avenue and Third Street.

Now owner Sachin Yadav tells us he plans to open shop by the end of February, bringing the Slope a 50s-style burger joint specializing in cheeseburgers, milkshakes, fries and onion rings.

This will be the first Cheeburger Cheeburger for Brooklyn, though there are locations in Queens, Staten Island and Farmingdale.

Yadav, who has been in the food industry for over a decade and owned Subway franchises in Manhattan, thinks the burger chain is the perfect fit for Park Slope.

"We have a grilled cheese sandwich, veggie burger, salads – we have options for everybody," said Yadav, adding that he had always dreamed of opening a restaurant in Park Slope and spent over two years hunting for the perfect location.

"We’re not a huge chain, it’s a family-based business," said Yadav. "If customers have any comments or complaints, I’ll work with them."
