The Smashing Pumpkins will play Barclays Center on Halloween – a fitting date for the alternative goth rockers.
The band, with its current lineup of Billy Corgan, Jeff Schroeder, Mike Byrne and Nicole Fiorentino, will play their latest album Oceania, in it’s entirely, before launching into a second set of classics.
According to Gothamist, Corgan said recently: "When people come to see the tour, we’re going to play Oceania, sixty minutes, as it was written. Front to back. We’ll have to make that work in front of that audience.”
The new record, released in June, has garnered mostly positive reviews, with Pitchfork calling it “Corgan's most worthwhile work in years.”
Tickets for the show range from $50 to $75, are on sale August 31st at 10 a.m., via Bowery Presents.
