Photos: Robin Williams Films on Grand Army Plaza

The star was in Park Slope Monday filming 'The Angriest Man in Brooklyn' and readers Carole Debeer and Debra Van Enkenvoort got some great shots.

The king of comedy came to Grand Army Plaza Monday to shoot his new movie, The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, and Patch readers Carole Debeer and Debra Van Enkenvoort shared some terrific photos.

According to Deadline Hollywood, "The film is the story of a stand-in doctor who mistakenly tells an obnoxious patient he has 90 minutes to live. The medic tries desperately to locate the man after her comments send him on a contrite tour of the city to right all the wrongs in his life."

Mila Kunis, Peter Dinklage, Melissa Leo and James Earl Jones are also in the film.

The Daily Mail got some really great close-ups of Robin Williams worth checking out.

Park Slope is home to many film shoots: part of Mike Birbiglia’s Sleep Walk With Me was filmed on Seventh Avenue, Paul Rudd, Paul Giamatti and Sally Hawkins filmed The Untitled Christmas Tree Project on Eighth Avenue in April and in February, Joaquin Phoenix and Marion Cotillard were on location in Prospect Park.

this movie must be based on the time when a movie was made at one of the most conjested accident ridden intersections in bklyn and how the average person trying to get to where their going could'nt get there because a movie was being made at one of the most conjested accident prone intersections in bklyn

Was the traffic accident in the scene caused by the Prospect Park West bike lane?

I see that the author of this story did not do her homework, Robin Williams has visited Park Slope before and has filmed a movie here before. The Awakening was filmed on 7th Street betweeen 6th and 7th Avenue.
