Meet Gabby, she is an old dog, mostly blind and has trouble running, but she still has a presence on Third Street.
Gabby is a Brussels Griffon, a terrier-like breed that is known for its almost human expression. It's a strange thing, and this picture might not give her justice, but when she looks at you, it kind of feels like a person is staring you in the eyes.
Originally breed in Belgium to catch rats in stables, they soon became popular as a household and family dog.
As Gabby walked slowly and cautiously up Third Street with its owner, its beard and over-all silly demeanor made me think: This dog looks like Chewbacca's baby.
