Photo of the Day: Fake Snow on Prospect Park West

Thanks to a film being shot in front of the The Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture, PPW was dusted white.

If you want to see the snow you'll have to go quickly, not because it will melt, but because the film is being wrapped up.

Thanks to Akiva Goldsman's film, Winter's Tale, which is based on Mark Helprin's novel, being filmed between First and Second streets fake snow is everywhere.

Horses, carriages and 19th century clothing can also be seen all over Prospect Park West, along with stars like Will Smith, Russell Crowe, Colin Farrell, William Hurt and more.

Upload your pictures of the set, the stars and the snow to this article, our Facebook page or e-mail them to Will.Yakowicz@Patch.com

Being that it is an election year, if you and other registered voters scream loudly enough, someoneRead More will hear you. This sounds like a job for the 7 On Your Side, or NY1 who may be able to reach NYCDOT and Higher Ranking officials at the 78th PCT to respond to your complaint and do something.
