“OPERAtion Brooklyn” is a collection of operas that are sophisticated and risqué. The group’s pieces challenge the conventions of the traditional vocal form. One opera is about texting and walking, another is about the subway and yet another one touches on the NYPDs Stop-and-Frisk.

If you’re interested, come today, Wed., Sept. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, 58 7th Ave Brooklyn, NY 11217.
