Gowanus Nite Market Next Weekend

It's a week away, but it's gonna be sweet.

Do you like going to outdoor flea markets during the day? Well, flip that around and you got the Gowanus Nite Market.

In Film Biz Recycling’s 10,000 square foot warehouse on President Street in Gowanus, you can expect up to 25 vendors, selling food, beer (Brooklyn Brewery), art and other handmade goods.

Film Biz Recycling provides props for movies, TV and the theater, but their space will change every month for the nighttime market. This venue will provide a quirky atmosphere for the unique market, offering locally produced goods and an “awesome sensory experience,” creator Raphael Niles explained.

Starting next weekend, Dec. 8, this event will happen every second Saturday from 7 p.m. through midnight.

A few of the vendors on the list include Design Hype, Bare Bone Supply, Steve’s Ice Cream and Daly Pie. Food trucks will also be outside, including Food Freaks.

If you are a vendor interested, you can apply for a table. If you can’t get in on the action this month, don’t worry for this baby is running through April.

So, get ready and come through on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 7 p.m. through 12 a.m. at 540 President Street, between Third and Fourth avenues.
