Still have no idea what to do this weekend? We’ve got you covered. Here are your best bets for a good time come five o’clock Friday:

A Charlie Brown Christmas

Where/When: Brooklyn Lyceum, 227 4th Ave, Friday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m.

Why Go: Join The Peanuts gang again this holiday season and help celebrate the fifth year anniversary at the Brooklyn Lyceum with a live action performance of A Charlie Brown Christmas directed by Mollie Vogt-Welch.

Cost: $10 

And lose the name of action @ BAM

Where/When: Brooklyn Academy of Music, 30 Lafayette Ave, Friday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: Miguel Gutierrez and the Powerful People present a partially improvised dance that explores the scary world of improvisation's elusive logic. Six dancers, ages 33 to 62, perform before a film background, creating an eerie and dislocated atmosphere.

Cost: $20

Hurricane Sandy Work Trip    

Where/When: 254 Hicks St. at Grace Court, in Brooklyn Heights, Saturday, Dec. 8 at 8 a.m.

Why Go: Grace Church Brooklyn Heights is sponsoring another Hurricane Sandy Relief work trip. Volunteers will be clearing out and gutting homes devastated by the hurricane. If you would like to volunteer, e-mail John Musco at jmusco@gracebrooklyn.org. Cars and drivers are needed!

Cost: Free!

Poetry in Motion

Where/When: Greenwood Baptist Church, 461 6th St, Saturday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m.

Why Go: Poetry in Motion is a joint project between Artichoke Dance Company and Bella Voce Singers that offers innovative dance and live music. Living composers, including Abbie Betinis, Stefan Weisman and J. David Moore, created the music utilizing poetry by Rumi, Hâfez, Lewis Carroll and Victor Hugo. Artichoke Dance Company will perform original dance works to live music performed by Bella Voce Singers. In addition to the performances, free educational workshops in dance and music are also offered.

Cost: $15

GOWANUS NITE MARKET

Where/When: Film Biz Recycling, 540 President St, Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m.

Why Go: The Gowanus Nite Market (GNM) is a monthly indoor pop-up market that’s never quite the same. At GNM you can expect rotating film industry props changing the look of the venue each month, super cool vendors, creatively designed vendor stations utilizing furnishings from the prop shop, a wicked DJ spinning and a long list of monthly happenings. GNM will offer locally produced goods and an awesome sensory experience.

Cost: Free!

All Aboard! Visit With Santa On The Trolley

Where/When: Burrito Bar & Kitchen, 307 Flatbush Ave, Sunday, Dec. 9 at 12:30 p.m.

Why Go: Come and visit with Santa on board of a trolley and receive a free candy cane and a train whistle. You can ride the trolley for one or two stops along the route, but the event ends at 2:30 p.m., so make sure to give you and your family enough time. The trolley will be making many stops along the way on Flatbush Avenue, from Bergen Street to Park Place on both sides of the avenue. Make sure you listen for Santa's sleigh bells!
