Young Artists @440: Brooklyn Street Scenes

This free, hands-on art workshop is open to children from ages 4 to 12, with supervision by a parent or guardian. Young artists will be inspired by the Brooklyn street scenes painted by Ella Yang in our current exhibition Brooklyn Seen. We will look closely at Ella's paintings and discuss what she has painted. Do you know these places? What makes you say that? What other details do you see? What shapes do you see? Vicki will demonstrate how to draw a street scene by using shapes and lines. The young artists will draw their own street scene, using shapes, lines and details. All materials will be provided.
