The Tea Lounge "UnFranchise" Launch Party

The Tea Lounge- is a coffee and tea lounge business with a vision to serve and support the Brooklyn community.  With a single current location in Brooklyn, The Tea Lounge has seen immense success and has become a centralized hub for members of the Brooklyn community of all ages. Jonathan Spiel, CEO and Brooklyn native is ready to make his next leap with The Tea Lounge, and is launching the brand as a Franchise at the end of the month. However, what makes his business unique is while the company will embrace the Franchise system, Tea Lounge will welcome entrepreneurs of Long Island and Greater New York City into the coffee/tea shop world with the means to create a business but allow creative community freedom unlike a Franchise. In fact, business owners will be encouraged to incorporate their own community attributes, like the current lounge does in Park Slope.

To launch what he calls an “UnFranchise,” Spiel is hosting a community entrepreneurial night from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m., May 31, at the Tea Lounge, 837 Union Street, Brooklyn, NY. The event will feature a presentation from Jonathan as well as the chance to experience the “lounge” atmosphere with coffee, tea, snacks, music and cocktails. He invites Park Slope and Brooklyn communities for an exciting night in thanks for support and celebration of The Tea Lounge's growth.
