The Melodic Minors / Myles Manley

Straight out of Philly, Lucas has been writing, performing, collaborating and setting his own unique musical path for the past 6-7 years now. A relative "Johnny come lately" to the music scene, his songs draw from a broad range of influences and lived experiences. A regular at local venues in the NYC area (Sidewalk Cafe, National Underground, The Folk Art Museum, Banjo Jim's, The Red Horse Cafe, Googies, to name a few), Lucas got his start as a member of the New and Used Songwriter's Collective created by the amazing songwriter/performer Ruth Gerson who also produced his CD "Where the Day Goes". His newly formed band, "The Melodic Miners" with Pauline David on violin, Mike Chiaramonte on Guitar and Sarah Caswell on vocals are taking Lucas' music to another level of depth and intimacy often lacking in the noise and clatter of today's music scene.

Myles Manley comes from Ireland and plays solo rocknroll music, with a clear interest in literary songwriting and dance music. Central influences are PJ Harvey, Elvis Costello, Radiohead, Neil Young and Nancy Griffith.

In early 2011 he recorded and self-released a 'live-in-the-studio' solo album Live (Alone in Dublin) and promoted it with regular gigs in Dublin and a European tour in the Summer of 2011, visiting Spain, France, Germany and England.

In Ireland he has assembled a 3-piece band, and has just finished recording a 7-track EP with full band production, set to be released in early 2012 with an array of gigs in Ireland and abroad.
