OXHEART presents DANCETROP -DAY TWO

One morning, OXHEART woke up and found glitter in its blood. At first, it was scared, seeing the tiny bits of light floating down its blue and red veins. What should it do? How can the glitter get out? Shots? A transfusion? But then OXHEART realized—the only way to remove the glitter was to dance it out. So OXHEART turned on its favorite James Brown record and it shook and it shook and it shook ‘til the glitter fell out. But there was just enough left over to make OXHEART’s heart sparkle.

And with that sparkle came an idea—a celebration of the glitter in all of us, the glitter that we shake out and swirl about with each movement and beat of creativity. The idea became “Dancetropolis,” the second event of art, music, and performance collaborative OXHEART.

The event is not just for showing, but for interacting. Votes will be taken throughout the evening for the OXHEART People’s Choice Awards, where first, second and third place artists, selected by attendees, will win a cash prize.
