Local authors Cheryl and William de Jong-Lambert will be on hand to discuss their new book Outdoors with Kids New York City. This information-packed guide from the outdoors experts at AMC features 100 outdoor experiences in and around New York City, where families can hike, bike, paddle, play, swim, or simply run around.
Enjoy the book talk while your kids play “learn what’s in your pack”; explore a campsite; or take part in a scavenger hunt and other games. Afterward, take the whole family on a naturalist-guided walk along the Waterfall Trail, where you’ll learn about the park’s network of waterways.
