Heather Freudenthal's documentary explores the question, "Can there be an 'I' in a 'We'?" Told through the perspectives of 4 women in their 20's, the notions of sacrifice and compromise get weighed for their pros and cons. Their struggles are revealed as they search for the delicate balance of maintaining their independence, and still being part of a couple.
