Downtown Brooklyn: What’s New?

This Municipal Art Society tour will explore the recent additions to Downtown Brooklyn, including hotels, several luxury high rise residences, a redesigned Fulton Mall, a grand entrance to the Manhattan Bridge, a new entrance to the Transit Museum and an urban farm. Participants will take a look at the ongoing transformation of the neighborhood and learn about Brooklyn’s past, present and future.  The tour will be led by urban historian and Downtown resident, Joe Svehlak.
