CRUMBLE: kitchen-sink, site-specific theater

“…CRUMBLE is an excitingly different bit of theatre. Low key and intimate to thrilling effect.”
The Tyro Theatre Critic

Mora Theater presents: CRUMBLE
Six New York area shows just added

After a sell-out run of performances in Manhattan, Long Island and Brooklyn last fall, Mora Theater is back with fresh performances of CRUMBLE, a one-woman play about a baking-obsessed housewife with an unraveling private life.

CRUMBLE is an unconventional piece of theater that takes place in the kitchens of homes across the New York metropolitan area. For security purposes, guests are given the specific address of the venue only after they purchase their tickets.

Upon arrival, guests enter the world of Sylvie Cranshaw, a quintessential Northern English housewife with a passion for cooking up ‘sauce’ in the kitchen, fresh meat and spicy innuendo. CRUMBLE is the story of a woman who, while trying to escape her monotonous existence, mistakes fantasy for reality and loses herself somewhere in the middle. You can catch CRUMBLE on June 8th, 9th, 12th and 15th on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and June 14th and 22nd in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
