Cristina Black and Paul K Concert
Brooklynite Cristina Black sings pretty, folksy tunes and about love, money, drunkenness and disaster. Hopping from baritone ukulele to piano and back, she maintains a cabaret-like propriety while drawing on the curious looseness of her former home, New Orleans. Her current release, The Ditty Sessions, features contributions from a cast of New Orleans luminaries, including the late Alex Chilton.
Louisville-based songwriter Paul K (of Paul K & the Weathermen) is coming to Brooklyn for a rare solo performance at Union Hall. A one-time regular at CBGBs and on the indie rock circuit , the friendly yet irascible, invincible Paul K will be a treat for Brooklyn.
