We’d be surprised if you haven’t heard about The Tragedy of Arthur, the brilliant new novel by Arthur Phillips. As Michiko Kakutani explains in the New York Times, “‘The Tragedy of Arthur’ is a novel about the discovery of what is reputed to be a lost Shakespeare play, and with it Arthur Phillips has found the perfect vehicle for his cerebral talents: his ingenuity; his bright, elastic prose; and, most notably, his penchant for pastiche — for pouring his copious literary gifts into old vessels and reinventing familiar genres.”

Arthur Phillips will read from the book, answer questions, sign books and dazzle you with his prodigious literary talents all in one evening. Is writing a successful fake Shakespearean play not enough for this man?!
