Controversial Cobble Hill See-Through Shower Just 'Under Construction'

Reports of a glass shower being constructed by a Cobble Hill couple in the back of their home at 14 Tompkins Place had hit multiple news outlets over the past week.

Neighbors had reportedly complained that the glass shower was in clear view from the street. As it turns out, according to a report inThe Real Deal real estate blog, the shower is still under construction and in the end will be covered for privacy.

That Burning Smell Was A Giant Fire in New Jersey

On Monday night, Fort Greene more than other neighborhoods in Brooklyn, for some reason, was beset by the smell of burning rubber.

Local residents spent much of the night and early morning Tuesday wondering on social media just why the neighborhood stank like smoke and burning tires.
