Weekend Rails in Park Slope, Dec. 8 to Dec. 9

Here's your weekly dose of weekend subway service changes.

Don’t forget that there will be some subway service changes this weekend. Before you leave the house on Saturday, make sure you know how your train is running into and out of Park Slope.

Below are this weekend's scheduled service changes on your local rails:

  • 2 train service operates in two sections: Between 241 St. and E 180 St. and between E 180 St. and Flatbush Ave.
  • The and G train will skip Smith-9th St. all times until restoration is complete. MTA says by Dec. 31. Use the Carroll St. or 4th Ave-9th St. stations instead, or the B61 or B57.
  • No G trains between Bedford-Nostrand Aves and Court Sq.
  • N trains run over the Manhattan Bridge in both directions between Canal St. and DeKalb Ave. For Lower Manhattan, use nearby 4 train stations instead. In Brooklyn, transfer between N and 4trains at Atlantic Ave.-Barclays Center.
  • R train service operates in two sections: Between Jay St.-MetroTech and Bay Ridge-95th St., all times until further notice and between Forest Hills-71st Ave. and Whitehall St. (Days & Evenings). For service between Manhattan and Brooklyn, take the N or Q at Canal St. or Atlantic Av-Barclays Center.

Being that it is an election year, if you and other registered voters scream loudly enough, someoneRead More will hear you. This sounds like a job for the 7 On Your Side, or NY1 who may be able to reach NYCDOT and Higher Ranking officials at the 78th PCT to respond to your complaint and do something.
