Hot Chocolate and Smores Bar Keeping Winter Warm for Park Slopers

There are plenty of ways to keep warm this winter, but some of the tastiest options are at the new seasonal hot chocolate and smores, bar Winter Warmers.

Taking over the People's Pops spot for the winter, the shop was opened in October by friends Eric Holstein and Madison Gouzie. The two college friends were hoping to create a space to hang out with friends and stay warm as a sort of winter ice cream shop, as Gouzie puts it.

Oyster Bar Brooklyn Sets Opening Date

The long-awaited Oyster Bar Brooklyn has finally set a date and will open at 254-256 Fifth Avenue in Park Slope Dec. 18 at noon.

The new 5,000-square foot restaurant will (which previously housed Fornino) will feature an open kitchen, retail market, bar and lounge area, and main dining room with 150 seats.

First Significant Snow Hits Park Slope

While we've seen snowflakes here and there this winter, we haven't seen much snow on the ground until Tuesday.

Park Slope saw around three to five inches in most areas, creating an early Winter Wonderland around town.

New Rental Launches in South Slope

Ideal Properties Group in Brooklyn recently announced the launch of 603 Fourth in South Slope.
