Vote: King and Queen Canines of Park Slope Photo Contest

Who's the fairest pup of them all? You tell us by casting your vote for who should be crowned the top male and female dog of Park Slope.

Park Slope is filled with four-legged pals. But whose pooch is neighborhood royalty?

We asked readers to submit photos via e-mail of man's best friend mugging for the camera and received so many pics of crown-worthy canines from around the Slope.

But there can only be one King and Queen, so the judges—our friends at ProspectBark—pared down the entries to the top five male and female dogs.

Now it's time for you to weigh in. We will be collecting votes from Sunday, Sept. 30 through 5 p.m. on Oct. 4.

How? It's simple: Vote in the comments section below with the name of your favorite King and Queen finalist's photo from the gallery (with a piece of praise for your favorite pup, if you so choose).

The winning dogs will each receive a prize package worth $600 in sweet treats that includes a six-pack of Zoe's Premium Pet Food, organic human-grade ingredients cooked in small batches by local Slope dog owner ($30), a vet exam and microchip from Park Slope Veterinary ($120), a four-week training course by Walk This Way at The Brooklyn Dog Training Center ($180), a professional pet photography session with Jenna Leigh Teti ($150), a gift basket from NYC pet.com ($30), a one-year membership to Prospect Park Alliance and a doggie daytrip with ProspectBArk Dog Walking and Pet Sitting ($90).

For the official contest rules and regulations, please see the attached PDF

Note: You may only cast one vote for a "King" and another for a "Queen" per reader (we have ways of tracking this). No additional photos may be uploaded to the gallery during the voting period for belated consideration (we have ways of tracking this as well and they will be removed).

Now let the fur fly and may the best dog win!
