What happened this week on Park Slope Patch

It was another week of exciting developments and happenings in Park Slope. Here's our roundup of our biggest neighborhood headlines.

On Monday, we checked into the situation at , where scaffolding has encased the building and made it impossible for the kids to spend any time outside while in school. Recently, the city revealed that the scaffolding will remain for nearly three years.

Our shopping columnist brought us all the scoop on where to find for your gal pals (or other special ladies in your life) on Tuesday. Eidolon on Fifth Avenue showcases hats, tops, jewelry, bags and more by great local talent – and at affordable prices, to boot!

There were also a few developments in the Barclays Center area. First off, last weekend, directly across from the arena, much to the surprise of local resident. Then , yet another bar slated to potentially open in the area, agreed to a host of community concessions. And finally, we had the scoop on some coming down the line in anticipation of the arena opening.
