What happened on Park Slope Patch this week.

For Park Slope residents, its been a busy week  of shopping, cooking and traveling, with the neighborhood in full holday swing. There was carolling and Snowflake Specials, and New Year's plans to be made. Park Slope Patch was here to cover all of that, and then some. Here's what happened this week on Park Slope Patch:

Patch reporter Logan Whiteside discovered that National Labor Relations Board issued a complaint against  on Seventh Avenue for a allegedly terminating an employee for ties to International Works of the World. Ozzie's, however, had a different story to tell:

Speaking of, on Wednesday a hearing determined that construction at the site will continue after petitioners withdrew a motion to stay construction. The lawsuit will continue on other fronts.

"My view is the ESDC is responding in a way that misses the major concern, which is how 25 years of construction will affect people living in the neighborhood." said Al Butzel, attorney for BrooklynSpeaks, one of the community groups that is petitioning the development.
