THE DISH: Homemade Buffalo Wings for Super Bowl XLVI

Buffalo wings are synonymous with football, so there was no other choice this Sunday.

What food goes best with beer and football—let alone the Super Bowl? There’s really no debate: Buffalo wings.

  • Chicken drumsticks and wings, amount depends on how many people you are feeding.
  • Original flavored breadcrumbs.
  • Butter, for the pan and a slice (to your own personal taste) for each drumstick/wing.
  • Buffalo wing sauce (I usually use Frank’s but I couldn’t find it at Union Market or at Key Food).

DIRECTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Wash chicken, place in a mixing bowl and cover them with breadcrumbs.
  • Butter a cooking pan, place the chicken on the pan and then put thin slices of butter on each piece of chicken.
  • Put the chicken in the oven and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Take out, flip and cook for 15 more minutes.
  • Take out, put in mixing bowl, dowse with hot sauce and put back in oven for 10 minutes.
  • Allow for 10 minutes of cool down and then… enjoy!
