Readers' Choice: Best Staycation Spot in Park Slope

What's your favorite daytripping destination in the neighborhood?

Sometimes planning a vacation can be more stressful than it’s worth. So, instead of trying to coordinate your family’s or friends’ schedules why don’t you just take off work and hang out in Park Slope?

Seeing your neighborhood without the stress of work or the time crunch of the weekend can be super relaxing and rewarding. Plus, you don’t have to buy a plane ticket, fill the gas tank multiple times or sleep on a lumpy motel mattress.

But, how do you make your staycation feel like a vacation? The key is to do things that you never have time for usually or places that you’ve never been to.

Brooklyn is a borough filled with vast green parks, cultural centers, music and theatre venues. And Park Slope has destinations in all of these categories.

So, being that it’s Monday it’s time for Readers’ Choice: What’s your favorite staycation destination?

Make sure to vote in the poll below, which is open until 9 a.m. on Friday. The winners will be announced on Friday at 12 p.m.
