Photo of the Day: Natural Art Made by Ants

A log sitting in Prospect Park riddled with holes, made by carpenter ants' voracious appetite, looks more like a piece of art rather than a rotted piece of wood. 

The ants ate through the log, making a myriad of holes and smooth, intricate tunnels. The stump is a prime example of nature's ability to make art.
