Park Slope’s Weekend Rails

Here's your weekly dose of weekend subway service changes that will affect your trip back home or out of the 'hood.

There will be some subway construction this weekend. Make sure you get the scoop on the planned service changes before you leave the house on Saturday morning:

  • The F and G train will skip Smith-9th St. all times until fall 2012.
  • Manhattan-bound Q trains run express from Sheepshead Bay to Prospect Park, trains stop at Kings Hwy, Newkirk Plaza and Church Ave. 
  • Manhattan-bound Q trains run via the R train from Dekalb Ave to Canal Street. Trains stop at Jay St-MetroTech, Court, Whitehall, Rector, Cortlandt Streets and City Hall.
  • Manhattan-bound R trains run express from 36 Street to Atlantic Ave-Pacific Street. For service to 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St and Union St, take R to Atlantic Ave-Pacific Street and transfer to a Bay Ridge-bound R.
