Park Slope Food Co-Op Turns 40
Park Slope Food Co-Op celebrates 40 years in business.
The Park Slope Food Co-Op sits 16,000 members strong as it recently celebrated 40 years in business.
Founded in 1973, there are now 70 people on payroll, according to a report on NY1.com.
The co-op is at capacity, and is now lending expertise to neighboring co-ops in order to help them expand as well. They celebrated their 40th anniversary over the weekend.
