This week Here’s Park Slope brought us some very sad news indeed: Video Forum, one of the Slope’s few independent video stores, has closed for good. There was happier news, too, though: Harry Boland's, on Ninth Street by Fifth Avenue reopened after being seized by the taxman and though Lemongrass Grill has closed, it will be replaced by more Thai!

Effed in Park Slope had a great feature on psychics in the Slope: the blog discovered that Park Slope Psychic is a little more professional than Psychic Readings By Rita. They also live blogged the Cheeburger experience.

Only the Blog Knows Brooklyn has a new column called “Senior Moment,” written by Katie Hustead, who owns Paper Moon Moves, a Brooklyn-based senior move management company. Blogger Louise Crawford also penned a piece on Seventh Avenue bus culture.
