Meanwhile, Here’s Park Slope has the scoop on lots of little changes around the 'hood. First up, blogger Dan Myers reports that was named the city's  "Best Wings" in a Serious Eats poll. He also noticed that a red facade is going up at 137 Fifth Avenue, the five-story building headed for the corner of Fifth and St. Johns Place. And over on Seventh Avenue, a new pet grooming salon, 4 Paws, is headed for Seventh between 13th and 14th street.

Effed in Park Slope spotted a new trend: mommy mittens. FIPS Blogger Allison also had a fun interview with Grace Bonney, a Slope resident and the woman behind Design*Sponge.
