On Thursday blogger Dan Myers checked in with The Black Sheep Pub over on Bergen Street for an interview with bartender Greg Morabito. Here’s Park Slope also reported on Artesana Home’s closing this week, as well as the opening of a new DNA Footwear store on Seventh Avenue between Third and Fourth Streets.

On All About Fifth this week, readers got a look at some of the recent changes along Fifth Avenue, including a few new coffee shops, some unidentified construction going on in vacant storefronts, and the closure of Extraordinary.

Gothamist queried whether or not Park Slope was the cause between the rumored breakup of Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Effed in Park Slope was fortunate enough to be standing near the aforementioned Jake Gyllenhaal on the Q train and snapped a photo of him. The blog also noticed a huge dumpster that has been taking up parking spots on 15th Street for an extended period of time.
