Neighborhood Blogger Shuts Down Steve Buscemi's Stoop Snoop

Robert Schnakenberg, who's Tumblr account chronicled the items on Steve Buscemi's stoop, pulled the plug on his blog.

Steve Buscemi (and his neighbors) can finally rest assured that no one will be .

Robert Schnakenberg, the blogger who ran "What's on Steve Buscemi's Stoop?" for two years and goes by the pen name "Elliot Larkfield," decided to terminate his Tumblr account after receiving a "nice E-mail" from Lucian Buscemi, the star's son.

On Wednesday, The Brooklyn Paper revealed that the "Boardwalk Empire" star wasn't the one leaving all the objects on his stoop: It was in fact his wife, Jo Andres.

"We have been good neighbors for 20 years and now we have been inundated," she said. "We'd like respect and consideration and would like to be left alone."

Schnakenberg's last post, which was ran last week, read:

“I don't want to be slinking around the neighborhood taking pictures in defiance of the Buscemi family's express wishes. I always said I would honor any request from Steve to stop documenting the activity on his stoop, and this is close enough. Accordingly, this blog is officially discontinued. You may feel free to pursue other passive-aggressive online diversions.”
