Local Firemen Will Bring Santa to Visit Children at New York Methodist on Friday
The annual visit from Santa Claus, thanks to the FDNY, will hopefully bring holiday cheer to children in the hospital.
On Friday, Ladder Companies 122 and 105 and Engine Company 220 will bring Santa Claus to Department of Pediatrics so he can deliver gifts to children.
The annual event, where the FDNY will hoist Santa up to a child’s window in a cherry picker, will start at 9:30 a.m. on December 23 at the hospital on Seventh Avenue and Seventh Street.
Local firemen and Santa’s helpers will assist the jolly giver of gifts deliver presents to kids who will spend the holiday weekend in the hospital.
