Want to party before you spend Thanksgiving around the table? Come to Two Boots of Brooklyn on Wed., Nov. 21 for a party.
But, this is not just a party for the sake of fun, it’s the Second Annual Thanksgiving Eve Fundraiser for the Horizons Leadership Project.
Horizons is a youth enrichment program, based in Park Slope, which provides free programs for Brooklyn youth. Most of the programs participants come from families in need whose children would not be able to participate if it was a fee based program.
The Thanksgiving Eve Fundraising Party, on Second Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues, will start at 10 p.m. and run through 4 a.m. The event will feature local DJ Ben "The Beyonder" Carlin, who will be spinning a combination of hip-hop, soul, funk, R&B and rock and roll.
The bar will be manned local bar legend Scot Parish, formerly of Moonies Pub, and the room will be filled with Park Slopers.
